I am so sorry to see your precious Jasem must fight this battle as well. How I hate this disease and all the pain and suffering it brings. Jasem is such a beautiful child and I will be storming Heaven with prayers for him and your precious family.

Hi--I've just read your post to TannersDad's transplant question on cancerkids.org. I'm tannersMom. Thanks for your response. I don't know if it will be helpful to you to know other parent's experiencing this, but it has really helped me to talk with other people who understand what we're going through. We were diagnosed on february 15, 2006 with stage IV hepatoblastoma. They have told us from the beginning that we will have to have a liver transplant because the cancer has been in every lobe of his liver. So, we've had a couple months to digest the thought of a transplant. From everything we've been able to read about it, transplant is the very best option. I've heard about too many people who have resections, and the cancer comes back. So for me, I'm grateful for the option of a transplant vs. resection, although it is scary also. I would love to hear from you. Good luck!! Megan
