Jasem's 7th chemo (4th round of Cisplatin) started at 10:00am on May 5th, friday. According to Dr. Hung, t'was his last pre-surgery chemotherapy (there will be post-surgery chemo of course). That means all we need to do now is wait until his oncologist decide when he'll gonna have a surgery. He's going to have a number of tests and scans starting May 15 (I think it'll take 2-3 days just for these stuffs). Hopefully after that process they'll be able to tell us whether Jasem's liver is resectable or not. I'm kinda nervous cos even though I was used to the ups and downs of this whole thing, I'm still scared of hearing things I choose not to hear. We've gone this far and we're so thankful that the protocol worked out just fine. Btw, I would like to inform everybody that Jasem's afp last April 27th was 33 (not 3!)... Dr misread it before. It hasn't returned to normal last Apr 27th but it is now. His latest afp result is 18. The boy is doing great... he just learned another 2 "Wiggly" tunes and his vocabulary is greatly increasing... He's just perfect for his upcoming birthday celebration.
