8th Chemo

For those of you who were not informed... I'm sorry that I wasn't able to tell you before that Jasem's 8th chemo was moved from May 29th to June 5th. We've been sent home by Dr. Hung last 30th of May (jasem's bday) due to low wbc count. Even though we don't need to throw out party that day, I'm happy that we did not spend the whole day at the hospital. June 5th, he started again with Doxorubicin. It lasted for 2 days then we were sent home today. I think there's no Carbo this time since his afp is down to 6.7. Isn't that great? Knowing that chemo drugs eat bone marrows, I just hope they can stop chemo for a while since his afp is showing a good sign. Dr. suggest that we continue it to keep the afp low while waiting for the right time for resection, so, ok then.

Btw, Jasem's hair starts to grow back! I've noticed it last week. He's now more curious on foods than before. Mango, noodles and pasta are on his favorite list. He'll say "Ha chi ah!" in a loud voice which is supposed to be "Hao Chi ah" (chinese which means delicious). He's so funny. Rod and I can't help laughing with his funny acts.

Next chemo will be June 26th.

Please include the 4 month-old Wang-Chun Wang in your prayer as well. We've just met her. She has been diagnosed with Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH). Thank you and God Bless!!
