Hello Jasem's Fans!

If you remember from my previous journal, I wrote about the "no bed" thing at the 6th floor so we were sent back last Thursday (July 13th) and had to wait for their call. Right after I uploaded my story, we got a call from the hospital so we drive back and checked-in by 6:30 pm. It's really crazy cos it's like there's a reunion there. What I mean is, people we've known at Chang Gung Pediatrics were also there. Thursday night was like a crazy night of exchanging hi's and hello's. The house was really full, and I've heard that some patients were sent up the 7th floor, which is really strange.

About Jasem, the nurse didn't put his IV the night when we arrived. It's good bcos at least, our li'l boy had to spend the night without the "line". It was 10 am friday morning when they connect it to him then 12 hours after that, Jasem started taking Cisplatin which lasted for 24 hours as usual. Chemo ended last night, it went ok, so we were sent home early this morning. When I saw our bed, It was the time I really felt how tired I am. I took a nap this afternoon and now I'm the same old me again =). Jasem really gained weight and he wanted me to hold him all the time at the hospital. Thinking that it's his most comfy place during those times that he's irritated by the chemo drugs, all I can do is get him and use all

9th Chemo

the power left in me. Lucky, Rod's on vacation so he can help me carry our boy for some time. Actually, Jasem wouldn't go to him so he had to get some coins so that he can cheat Jasem. What's the coin for? A NT$10 is for the 3-minute entertainment at the 1st floor of the pediatrics... hahahah... I'm talking about the small car that jasem loves to ride/sit on that keeps rocking for 3-minutes while a sound is being played... lol, sorry... I don't know how to call that thing.

We asked Dr. Hung about his afp. It was down to 4.6 last 4th week of June. From 6.7 down to 4.6... that's still a wow!

We are scheduled to go back on July 27th... I think they'll be doing a CT scan again. I'm praying that he'll be ready now after 9 times of chemotherapy... well, i guess, you know what that "ready" means. It may seem that everything is going smooth now but please don't stop praying... HE's listening, no doubt about it.

Thank you for your continued prayers. God Bless!
