"No Vacant bed at the 6th Floor"

Hey, It's been a little while, huh?

While I'm writing here, Jasem's back there riding his rubber donkey. He's still wearing the cool grey shirt that his "Lala" gave him, I let him wear that cos I think we got to impress our oncologist today. Yeah, we had an appointment with Dr. Hung today but we were sent home not because his blood counts are low... it's because of one crazy reason: 6th floor is full! Not a single bed is vacant this time so we have to go home and wait for their call once there's a bed available. It's been raining since yesterday, typhoon is about to visit the island and they just ask us to go back home? Hmmm...

Jasem's feeling so good these days. He gained 2 kg since last two weeks (13kg to 15kg). I hope this sudden weight gain doesn't mean something bad. Well, let's erase that negative thought. He's been drinking milk like one month-old baby... he asks for milk every hour! And even during the night! I feel like I have a newly born baby in the room, lol. Porridge and mango are the foods he wants during

meal time. And me... I remain to be his best friend. He wants me all the time.

AFP? I haven't heard of it too since his 8th chemo. Dr. Hung was not mentioning on Jasem's AFP result even during our June 29th's visit. They checked Jasem's blood count last June 29th after the fevers and blood transfusions during the 4th week of June if you still remember. His blood counts were still low that time that's why Dr. Hung extended Jasem's "vacation". And today, July 13th, Jasem's blood count are back to normal and they are supposed to give him Cisplatin (chemo drug) again but like I said earlier... no empty bed at the 6th floor of Chang Gung Pediatrics so... you have to wait there, Cisplatin.

Anyway, until later... Take care y'all... and keep that prayer beads rollin'
