Yey! It's Daisy's 4th birthday today. We had a small celebration for her. I want to throw a party for her but, hellooo... we're in Taiwan... I've been living here in Taiwan for 5 years and there's no such "kid's birthday party" on their vocabulary. Cake, candle and family... that's all there is on a kid's birthday here. Anyways, we had a great time being together and I think that's what matters most. Jasem ain't feelin' great after being sent home from hospital last Thursday (August 3rd) but I'm glad we made it to his sister's birthday.
Daisy's 4 now and we already enrolled her to the daycare center that is just few meters away from our home. I felt a little guilty not being the one to send her on her first day in school. Jasem and I were still at the hospital when their class started last August 2nd. She's a smart girl, she'll understand me. I'll provide a space for her someday so that you can see her art works online.
Sorry, I got to make this quick cos Jasem is really not feeling well, he wants me beside him all the time. He's having fever all day... I'm sure his blood and platelet counts are down again. If we can't stop the fever until tomorrow, I guess we don't need to wait for August 10th (our next appointment with Dr. Hung) before we bring him back to Chang Gung.
By the way, please pray for Daisy and Jasem's dear grandpa "Lolo Jaime". He'll be having surgery on Tuesday (August 8th) to get rid of a stone in his kidney. Let's pray for our own health, it's the best wealth we can ever achieve.
That's all for now. Thank you for all of your love and concern. You're all in my prayers as well. Good health to everyone!
